BRIEF
Pre-painted Galvanized Steel (PPGI), also names Prepainted Zinc Coated Steel, is a kind of Color Coated Steels made by using GI as substrate. By coating organic paintings on the hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, in addition to have the protective effect from zinc, the organic paintings on the surface also protect against rust, so PPGI has a longer service life than hot-dip galvanized sheets.
Pre-painted Galfan Steel (PPGF) and Pre-painted Galvalume Steel (PPGL), are kinds of Pre-painted Galvanized Aluminum Steels or Prepainted Aluminium-Zinc (Al-Zn) Coated Steels, which made by using GF (Zn-5%Al-RE) and GL (55%Al-43.3%Zn-1.6%Si) as Color Coated Steels substrates. These kinds of steel sheets are mainly used in the case of high requirements of corrosion resistance, which have excellent corrosion resistance and climate resistance, and are very suitable for buildings or other facilities in extreme environments.
PPGI, PPGF and PPGL are the most widely used and most popular kinds of Color Coated Steels. With integrating the advantages of metal and organic polymers, by using Zn or Al-Zn steel as substrates, these kind of color steels have more corrosion resistant and longer usage cycle, and have good combination properties of corrosion resistance, ornament, mold-ability and welding, also more cost saving and energy saving.
PPGI, PPGF and PPGL can be coated with various paint colors, also can be printed in different designs including flowers, wooden, brick, stone, camouflage, and other lines / belts / grids / dots / words and shapes in more than one colors, which have very beautiful outside surfaces, and have both architectural and decorative features.
